Creates stop-motion videos from multiple snapshots

Answer by Ashish Bajaj

There can be several reasons why Jellycam freezes when you try to create your video. First, make sure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements for Jellycam. Additionally, try uninstalling Jellycam and Adobe Air, then reinstalling them again. If the issue persists, you may need to contact Jellycam's support team for further assistance.

Whenever I try to export my project it freezes at 418 pictures and the program crashes! When I save it, close the program, and open up the saved version, the first 418 pictures have been duplicated at the end of the stop motion and 418 random other pictures have been deleted from my stop motion. The whole thing is a mess. Is there a way of restoring my stop motion? Or do I have to import my pictures again?

The application is based on Adobe Air, therefore I recommend you to update Adobe Air to the latest version through the link posted below and then download the latest version of JellyCam application as well. I will provide both download links to make it easier for you.

The installation can be overwritten since nothing will happen.

When I open the program it says the it can't open because it didn't found cv100.dll. Why is this happening?

There are two possible causes to this issue:

  1. The software is not launched as Administrator, therefore it doesn't have access to the necessary DLL/system files. Right click the file and choose Run as Administrator.

  2. Access the following link and use one of the website to download the necessary DLL file, then place it in the system directory.

I have downloaded the application and installed it on my computer as well. Used a webcam to capture the images and everything worked normally. There were no issues or something related to your issues.

As an advice, try updating Adobe AIR to the latest version and then reinstall the application. Make sure that your webcam also works normally and is installed properly in Device Manager.

I have installed the software and checked to see if I could configure the output options, but there is no menu or possibility to do that. By default, JellyCam exports to FLV that can be uploaded to YouTube. The best way to improve your video is by using a quality webcam to record in HD and then the output file will have an increased quality as well.
